7th Grade Class Project: Multi-media art
In keeping with our auction theme of "DREAM Big," 7th grade has created a beautiful compilation of canvas art. Each of the seven students created one square inspired by their dreams and passions. Mr. Ainslie also got in on the action to bring us up to 8, and the 9th center square is a blending of all the kids' artistic efforts. The students were able to enjoy using different textures and materials to let their creative juices flow. We used a consistent color scheme to bring continuity to the piece. The results are incredible and unique. A beautiful piece of art.

Fund an Item - Covered Play Area
This year's Fund-an-Item proceeds will pay for a covered play area over the basketball court, similar to the structure pictured here. This will allow our students to be outside more frequently for P.E. and recess. All of our St. Nicholas students will benefit from a protected place to play. Mrs. Unruh has already received approval for this plan from the parish, the Seattle Archdiocese, and the City of Gig Harbor. All we need now are the funds to make it happen!
