Forming Scholars and Saints

In 1995, St. Nicholas parishioners founded Holy Family School, an independent Catholic school. In 2000, Holy Family School became St. Nicholas Catholic School when it was incorporated as a parish school within the Archdiocese of Seattle. Students come to St. Nicholas primarily from Gig Harbor, the Key Peninsula, and South Kitsap County. Both the school and parish reflect the vibrancy of these communities!

Our Mission: United by the love of Christ, St. Nicholas Catholic School, in partnership with parents and parish, teaches the fullness of the Catholic faith, fosters academic excellence, and nurtures a community of disciples. 

As a faith-centered school, we serve our parish and community through prayer and action. working together with home and church, the focus of our instruction is to help students achieve their highest individual potential, to model Gospel values to others, and to become lifelong learners in a global community.
